SKYBORNE 1-10: goal level 10 in under 2 hours. From our Skyborne beta runs (one main run plus an alt that reached level 6), AFK removed and cross-checked against the RestedXP Forever Skyborne route.
HOW OUR RUNS WENT
The alt reached level 5 in 57 active minutes (the 2-hour pace is about 21). The main hit the level-10 mark at about 162 active minutes, our fastest race so far; that is an estimate because its kill XP was not logged, so we used the alt's split of 52% kills and 48% quests. The slowest stretch was the first 3,000 quest XP (the Al'Aketh area), which took 51 minutes.
KILL-TO-LEVEL CHECKPOINTS
- Level 5, at 1,740 of 2,800 XP, before heading to Shen'dar Village: kill Al'Aketh Brutes, Neophytes and Ambushers so the village turn-ins pop level 6 and you can train.
- Shamans: also reach 480 of 900 XP at level 2 (Juvenile Vuldren, Pesky Cirrusflies) before the totem turn-ins.
ROUTE (the RestedXP order, which matches what we ran)
Coming of Age, Infestation Investigation, The Anchors of Zephras, Harmony in Balance, Falling With Style, Harvesting Windstones, The Cirrusfly Queen, Return to Rorian, Aetheen of the Gales, The Gift of Skysight, Foul Matriarch, Aggressive Encroachment, Al'Aketh Thugs, Shen'dar Village quests, Falaath Village, Among the Faithful, The Western Watch, Stolen Supplies, Havoc in the Highlands, A Last Request, Valanaar quests, Windfield Orchard quests, Deliver the News.
ADD AND SKIP
- We missed Falling With Style and The Gift of Skysight.
- Worth adding (quick in our data, not in RestedXP): Standing Our Ground, The Hills Have Eyes, Agitators.
- Skip Bugged (700 XP, but it sat open 55 minutes).
- Camping 101: only the one for your profession.
RACIAL NOTE
Blizzard's racial tuning pass reduced Skyborne haste to 2% and buffed Skysight to 15% movement speed (30% for an hour when used with convergence). Check the latest patch notes before committing.
HOW WE KNOW
Test runs by MinMax Life members in the WoW Forever beta, with AFK and chat time removed, cross-checked against RestedXP's Forever routes and public guides. XP figures marked 'observed' are quest turn-ins captured by our Atlas tracker. Items listed under 'to confirm' will be checked on launch day. Strategies change, so comment with what you find.
